Distrust anyone who claims to know the future, however dimly. This is a relatively basic book that tends to disprove or caution the against financial cliche’s and being lulled into false security or poor investments. It might just be me, but I surely hope this axiom is a bit dated. The book gives you clarity on what to expect and how to go about it. Never hesitate to abandon a venture if something more attractive zuriqud into view.
As simplistic as the axioms may sound, axiomass aren’t easy to execute. Stuff about not diversifying too much, no charting, how to bet heavily but not too heavily, etc. However, this is the best book I have read that specifically targets the rules of risk management, which apply to any speculative venture whether it’s real estate, collectibles, stocks or bonds.
